Strengthening Safety Culture Towards Zero Accidents at Bhimasena Power Plant
We were honoured to contribute as an invited speaker at Bhimasena Power Plant (PLTU Batang), Central Java, a major power generation facility supporting Indonesia's energy sector. The session, titled "Building a Strong Safety Culture for Zero Accidents," focused on strengthening safety awareness, encouraging proactive safety behaviours, and reinforcing the shared responsibility of creating a safe and sustainable workplace. The participation of the Chief Technical Officer (CTO), General Manager of HSE, and other senior management representatives demonstrated the organisation's strong leadership commitment to its core principle: "Safety is Our Utmost Priority."
The session created an engaging platform for employees and management to exchange experiences, discuss practical safety challenges, and reflect on the importance of embedding safety into everyday operations. Through interactive discussions and active participation, the programme reinforced the value of continuous improvement and collective ownership in sustaining a positive safety culture.
